When I was trying to figure out the special giveaways for all you lovely people, I honestly thought about what would be important to me when starting paleo and trying to figure out a life that made me feel like my best me. And when starting paleo over 5 years ago, I had literally NO gadgets. No pans, no knives, no zesters, no nothing. When I moved out on my own after college, I would buy pots and pans from thrift stores, use suuuuper dull knives, and ask for kitchen gadgets like a food processor for my birthday. Over time, I’ve accumulated different items that have helped me so much with cooking and baking and even making cocktails. Which is exactly why I’m sharing this fun giveaway today!
For me, having sharp knives nowadays is a must. If you’re looking to cut a spaghetti squash or butternut squash or even just a sweet potato, things can get pretty sketchy if you have a dull knife. And if you’re miserable with dicing and chopping or close to cutting off a finger, you aren’t going to want to get your meals ready. Two things I’m sure about with myself: 1. If I buy cute outfits, I feel better about myself, and 2. If I buy fun kitchen gadgets, I like to cook more. And since knives can be so expensive, I want to give away some of my favorite knives: Wusthof. These knives are wonderful knives that have done me so well in the kitchen. Everyone says they need these knives. But I REALLY do! I keep cutting myself due to my dull old knives, and one of these days…it’s going to be uglier than it already has been….of course unless I win these knives! My knives are soooo dull and I cook ALL the time. Breakfast, lunch and dinner every day! If I don’t win, I’m going to buy them for sure.
