I know eyeshadow palettes can be a little intimidating, especially palettes that have bright colors. And even though I’m no makeup artist, I still like playing around with eyeshadows and trying new colors. And this Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette makes makeup way more fun! I love mixing some of these peachy and pink colors whenever I’m wearing that same color top OR if I’m wearing some sort of green or emerald. It makes the eyes really pop and it simply makes life more fun. I can wear boring eyeshadow colors when I’m dead. Even then, I really hope the afterlife has even more color palettes to choose from.

In today’s blog post, I’m sharing how I blend this Cherry Palette, then my current winter makeup favorites! Hopefully this post introduces you to some new products you love, but I REALLY hope it gets you trying something new when it comes to your eyeshadow game! Don’t be afraid of color, you got this! Below you’ll be able to watch my makeup tutorial, then I also link all the products I use in this video!!

Tula Moisturizing Primer – This primer is my absolute favorite, even when I’m not wearing makeup. It gives a really beautiful blurred effect to make the skin glow and look extra smooth!

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette – Below are the colors I used in this video and how I built them on my lids:

  • Hot Spot on the lid close to the eye
  • Juicy up onto the entire eyelid
  • Feelz at the crease, moving up to the eyebrow
  • Devilish at the crease, moving up to the eyebrow
  • Privacy at the crease

BeautyBlender Sponge – When using the sponge, first run it under water then squeeze all the excess out before using. This will ensure that the makeup doesn’t soak into the sponge when you’re using it. Then make sure to wash it with soap and water afterwards, squeezing out all the excess water before storing away.

W3ll People Tinted Moisturizer in Light – This has been my favorite tinted moisturizer for a while now, especially in the winter when my skin is dry and needs a little extra moisture. It gives great coverage and a little goes a long way!

BeautyCounter Powder Brush – Love these BC brushes! I use almost all of them to apply my makeup!

BeautyCounter Bronzer

  • Dune for all over coverage
  • Surf for contouring effect

BeautyCounter Fan Powder Brush used for Mineral Fusion Bronzer/Blush Duo – Loving this blush color. It’s super light so you don’t have a hard line of pink on your cheekbones.

BeautyCounter Angled Brush used for BeautyCounter Luminous Powder Highlighter in Halo – This highlighter is a super pretty color that gives the cheekbones just a little hint of shimmer.

Anastasia Angled Eyebrow Brush used with Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown – This brow pomade lasts FOREVER because you don’t need much to get great color and shape with your brows

KISS Lash Adhesive used with KISS Pageboy Lashes – These are my current favorite lashes! I often pick mine up at Walgreens and they usually have great deals on lashes!

Ilia Limitless Mascara – I use this mascara on top of my lashes to blend my real lashes with the fake ones. I like this mascara because it’s non-toxic, but I’m not a huge fan of the mascara on it’s own. I prefer my lashes to be gigantic and this one just doesn’t cut it.

Trish McEvoy Long Wear Lip Liner in Barely Nude – I LOVE this lip liner. It’s such a great color, but it also lasts forever!

BeautyCounter Color Intense Lipstick in Brunch – I like this lipstick, but I think I still love Thrive Causemetics Headliner Lipstick in Ilene (Pink Taupe) more. It’s a similar color, but I find that it lasts a little longer than BC.

I hope you liked this fun makeup tutorial!! Let me know what you think and feel free to share any makeup favorites you’re loving right now! I always love having new brands to try out!

This is amazing! Thanks for sharing.
I think you may have tried thrive cosmetics previously. Any thoughts? I’m looking for a medium coverage, “clean” (ish) cc/bb/tinted moisturizer w/spf. I’d love if you had any recs to share.
