Baby registries are SO OVERWHELMING. We are having a baby for the first time…and we’re supposed to know what she needs?! Hell if I know! Luckily I found some of the most helpful items through Live Wild Be Well Non-Toxic Baby Registry along with items through friends I follow on instagram. They would link a product they loved in stories and I would save it to add to our registry later. Do I have everything I need on there? Probably not. But that’s why having Amazon at our finger tips these days is a true lifesaver. We’ll figure out the rest along the way!

Hopefully this list helps you build your own baby registry! And if you think I’m missing any MUST HAVE items, please leave a comment in the comment section below!

Earth mama nipple butter (if you choose to nurse). Thank me later!

Also check with your insurance company about the breast pump. Many are covered by insurance!

This! Aeroflow is a great website that will check your insurance coverage. For me, both the Spectra and Elvie were partially covered and they send free replacement parts every few months.

Definitely add the 4 season woolino sleep sack. It’s so lovely and keeps baby cool or warm and truly you only need 2 (2-24 months size and 2-4 years size). I’ve used them for both my boys and they are worth every penny!

Omg yes. We have a set of the baby ones that my youngest uses and then a toddler set that my almost 4 year old still uses. They’re incredible!

I’d skip the Tripp trapp cushion personally. Theyre kind of extra and it gets so messy that it just seems like a hassle. We have two Tripp Trapps now, one that’s just a seat, and I’m constantly grateful that it’s just a quick wipe down. There’s so much laundry.

I’d add muslin blankets. You can use them to swaddle if you want, but they’re also good when a huge spit up happens or they pee. They just catch fluid very easily. Also, not pretty but a few fleece blankets to throw on the couch when you’re feeding are a lifesaver. Later we used them for floor play or tummy time or whatever.

Highly recommend a haaka if you plan to breast feed, and also the frida mom postpartum kit!

Stink Balm Odor Blocker available on Amazon. This helped my odor sensitive brother in law through changing diapers. It was created by nurses for nurses.

    Best Regards,
    Ava

This a great list. I would add something for baby wearing (love the Solly Wrap for newborns). I also love Lovevery’s age based play kits. They are the best!

Skip Hop changing pad – worth the extra money to not have a cloth cover one they can mess on 🤢and you have to wrangle off, just wipe away with a cleaning wipe!

    1. Deanna says:

💯 on the silicone changer! I liked Kekaroo but regardless not changing cloth covers is amazing.

You have to look into Zoe Organics skincare products! Their Diaper Balm is truly the best. Love their Baby Oil as well! Oh and their Nipple Balm too. All 100% organic.

100% for the Ubbi diaper pail, Ubbi wipes dispenser, Tripp Trap high chair, Stokke folding tub, uppababy car seat and stroller, Lovevery play gym, Baby Bjorn bouncer, skip hop activity center. The blue Spectra pump, rechargeable one so you can pump on the go if needed. Check out EvenFlo glass bottles, they are awesome and a great price. Good to have more than one bottle option, babe might not take to the one you have. 4oz glass mason jars also great for milk storage in freezer. Tubby Todd ointment too, it’s magical. I’d skip the high chair cushion, you’ll be needing to wash it after every meal! Two accounts I love to follow on IG, got a lot of clean/low-tox/no-tox ideas from are, DRORGANICMOMMY and 3LittlePlums

Thank you for posting b/c I’m about 12 weeks behind you, also live in CO, and am totally copying much of your registry! Will you be sharing at some point your nursery and decor? It’s adorable! Especially love that cute giraffe!

    1. juli says:

yes!! finishing up the nursery now so i’m hoping to have it done by the first week of june!

Health insurance will often cover the cost of a medical grade pump. Medical supply stores carry them. A BOB jogging stroller is key is nice to have, especially for beach vacations.
