I’ve decided to start doing some Fashion Fridays here on the blog. Why? Because I want to. Does it have to do with food? Kind of. I mean, I go to restaurants, weddings, and BBQs in these outfits, where I eat. So it has to do with food in my own mind. AND these fashion photos have become more popular on my instagram (second to Jackson, obviously) than my food pictures so I decided I wanted to share where I’ve found all of my outfits since I’m a budget shopper when it comes to most outfits! Let’s do this!
Date night:
- Beige Booties: Target for $35.00
- Jean Shorts: American Eagle for $40.00
- Flowy top: Starlet Boutique for $30.00
- Light beige sweater: Nordstrom for $32.00
- Silver ring: Stitch and Stone for $25.00
- Silver leaf necklace: World Market for $15.00
- Silver cuff bracelet: thrift store!
A couple night later, I headed to a wedding that was conveniently only 2 blocks from my house. I wish every wedding was like that. Except for the ones in Mexico. I’m fine with going to Mexico. Oh, and it had cupcakes and street tacos. Best wedding I’ve been to in quite some time!
- Brown wedges: Steve Madden (on sale for $63.00)
- Dress: Shop Hopes (Check out the link to see the back of the dress. It may be the best part: $43.00)
- Earrings: World Market for $13.00
- Necklace: Francesca’s for $22.00
- Bracelets: Inspyre Boutique for $10.00
- Ring: literally no clue
Backyard BBQ for this outfit. I made ice cream sandwiches for this BBQ. It was wonderful. Especially because we ate ice cream sandwiches in front of the fire pit. I want a fire pit.
- Flip Flops: Cobian from The Clymb
- Jean shorts: American Eagle for $40.00
- Button Tank: Monica’s Closet for $33.00
- Light black sweater: Nordstrom
Family came into town on Monday so I threw an easy outfit together before I headed to eat some Chilean Sea Bass. I wish I could eat that every day. Mostly the sea bass I had at Tao in Las Vegas.
- Flip Flops: Cobian from The Clymb
- Skinny jeans: Flying Monkey Jeans that I found at Inspyre Boutique
- Grey shirt was found at Buffalo Exchange in Austin, TX (second hand is fun when you find stuff)
- Leather jacket from Francesca’s for $60.00
- Pink necklace: Insypre Boutique
- Earrings: Francesca’s
Had an unexpected dinner the next night that was business related. So I threw together a “kind of” business outfit. We ate at Earl’s. Have you ever eaten there? I’ve never been into it because I think it feels like a fancy Hooters, but daaaaaamn my food was pretty good!
- Brown wedges from Steve Madden (on sale for $63.00)
- Another pair of kinny jeans: Flying Monkey Jeans that I found at Inspyre Boutique for $50 (I have 3 pairs since I love them so much)
- Black flowy tank: Pink’s Boutique for $25.00
- Pink blazer: I found this at Plato’s Closet that is a second hand store, but it’s from Forever 21
- Necklace from World Market (it’s hard to see in this lighting but the top bead is a light turquoise – the link is to a similar necklace since I couldn’t find the exact one) for $17.00
Had a day of errands AND it was a rest day from the gym. So I really had no reason to even put on workout clothes and not do my hair.
Now share your favorite places to shop and favorite new outfits that you’ve found, in the comments below!

Cute clothes! Very cool idea to add this section.
What I am really hoping you can share though – is what do I need to do to get my legs to look as sculpted as yours?! I am an endurance athlete but am planning to start decreasing the aerobic stuff and ramping up time in the weight room, so… Any suggestions for exercises, # reps, how often etc? 🙂
Love all your outfits– especially the wedges!
I love this addition to the blog! Us crossfit girls have special fashion needs and you have great ideas! Took 2 pairs of shorts in to get altered this week. Thank you!
Scrolling through your pictures…
