Today on the podcast, I’m sharing what the last month has looked like ever since I gave birth to Avery. I’m sharing how Brian and I are taking shifts to ensure we get adequate sleep in AND what I have done to greatly improve my breastfeeding experience!

Hey Juli! I have been a long time follower of yours and it has been really fun to watch your journey! I just wanted to drop a note to let you know that even triggering content should still be shared. My son is now 14 months old and, though I am sure you don’t want to hear my whole birth story…. I freaking love sharing it :), was 4 weeks early weighing only 4 pounds 2 ounces at birth (despite my healthy diet and working out during and before pregnancy). He was a total rockstar and was thriving from the moment he came into this world, but we never got the hang of breastfeeding. We tried and tried, but it didn’t work for us. Your podcast made me cry my eyes out. Was it triggering for me? Nope, I didn’t let it be. Even though I wanted that experience so badly and wasn’t able to have it, I am still able to be incredibly happy for other moms when they do have that experience. I think it’s important for all of us to focus on the positive, not only in our own lives, but when someone else is sharing their experiences as well. We should all be able to share our journey without worrying someone else will feel triggered by our experience. There are PLENTY of other things we worry about in our day. Keep doing your thing and know that most of your followers love what you share, even the “triggering” content.
Struggling also with raynauds and keeping my supply up as well. Would you mind asking your acupuncturist their technique or treatment for increasing supply so I can ask my acupuncturist to try and do the same?
