Sorry if my emotional post the other day was a bit too intense for your taste. I was flying back from California on my delayed flight and was raging with too much sugar. I definitely was telling the truth, though. So I appreciate all who listened and commented back. It’s amazing to read some of those posts and se of the people who go through the same frustrations. You guys are so great.

Let’s talk about lighter topics though. Like my pedicures that are not getting their money’s worth. I know I’m a terrible runner. I really am. My hips and ankles are screwed up from gosh knows what, so one of my ankles collapses in when I run. Not a good look, or feeling. It’s actually even painful for me to stand up on a bike in spin class because my feet go numb. How crazy is that? Anywho. I think because I suck at running so much, my feet are looking worse and worse. I get a pedicure and 3 days later, I need another one. Don’t get me wrong, my toenails look pretty in pink, but when you look underneath, it’s a whole different story. Gross. I need a miracle pedicure. Or new hips.

I hate how many spots I miss while shaving my legs. What’s the point.

So I’m going on a little vacation next week for the 4th of July. Well, kind of. I wouldn’t call it a vacation because it’s not really my style. It includes camping. And well, I haven’t been camping in a loooong time. Because camping isn’t really my thing. I prefer using my own bathroom. Just personal preference. But I’m being open to trying new things. And we are camping right next to a lake, which is way more fun. So I can’t really complain. I’ll be surrounded by some pretty rad friends. Well now I’m getting excited.

Sooooo guess what?!? I have new apparel! A few people have been asking about my apparel and I finally have new stuff for you!! So exciting. I have headbands, tanks, tshirts, long sleeve shirts, and slouchy sweatshirts. AND multiple colors!! Be sure to check them out on WOD Love! Then you can wear them cool places, like the gym, or the mall, or TO THE GAMES. That would be so cool! Okbye.

Check out chirunning.com. It has seriously changed my running experience 100% for the better and has reduced my instances of injuries.

Just made this SO delicious! I ended up dicing 3 cups of watermelon, but it was fine.
4 tablespoons = 1/4 cup, which is a bit easier for measuring.
But I’d cut that back. I diced the mint fairly fine, but there is just so much of it that the texture gets overwhelming. I’d describe it as fuzzy construction paper. 😉 Not yummy.
But mint has a powerful flavor, so I’m hoping cutting it in half will still impart the flavor without the icky texture.

Quadrupled this and took it to a 4th of July party yesterday. I tell you, I should have set some aside, because I was REALLY looking forward to having some for breakfast. But those jerks (er, friends) ate it all! Shared the recipe link to your site with about a dozen people, so hopefully you’ll get more followers and more people eating the paleo way.

Try a Shellac/gel pedicure…you won’t need another one for a month, I don’t care how hard you run or how small your shoes apparently are…that sh*t won’t BUDGE!

Serious, go see a foot doctor, a Podiatrist. That’s an easy fix, all you probably need are orthotics, that stopped my ankles rolling in and subsequent knee issues. Yeah sure good shoes and all that, but if your foot/ankle pronates no good shoe will help/correct that.

Thanks for this recipe. Though I changed it up a bit.. I used a little less mint, and I used half balsamic and half apple cider vinegar. Such a killer salad. I will be making this again this summer.

I typically don’t run unless something scary is chasing me…..or there’s chocolate involved….so I’m not much help there, but I do hop you’ve gotten/are getting better.

Just wanted to say thanks for this amazing recipe. I made it last week just for me and practically inhaled it whole. I made it again for a cookout this past weekend and decided to tweak it a bit and add some fresh lime juice and lime zest. Lo and behold, it was dubbed Watermelon Mojito Salad! Amazingly good! Thanks! =)
