Sorry if my emotional post the other day was a bit too intense for your taste. I was flying back from California on my delayed flight and was raging with too much sugar. I definitely was telling the truth, though. So I appreciate all who listened and commented back. It’s amazing to read some of those posts and se of the people who go through the same frustrations. You guys are so great.

Let’s talk about lighter topics though. Like my pedicures that are not getting their money’s worth. I know I’m a terrible runner. I really am. My hips and ankles are screwed up from gosh knows what, so one of my ankles collapses in when I run. Not a good look, or feeling. It’s actually even painful for me to stand up on a bike in spin class because my feet go numb. How crazy is that? Anywho. I think because I suck at running so much, my feet are looking worse and worse. I get a pedicure and 3 days later, I need another one. Don’t get me wrong, my toenails look pretty in pink, but when you look underneath, it’s a whole different story. Gross. I need a miracle pedicure. Or new hips.

I hate how many spots I miss while shaving my legs. What’s the point.

So I’m going on a little vacation next week for the 4th of July. Well, kind of. I wouldn’t call it a vacation because it’s not really my style. It includes camping. And well, I haven’t been camping in a loooong time. Because camping isn’t really my thing. I prefer using my own bathroom. Just personal preference. But I’m being open to trying new things. And we are camping right next to a lake, which is way more fun. So I can’t really complain. I’ll be surrounded by some pretty rad friends. Well now I’m getting excited.

Sooooo guess what?!? I have new apparel! A few people have been asking about my apparel and I finally have new stuff for you!! So exciting. I have headbands, tanks, tshirts, long sleeve shirts, and slouchy sweatshirts. AND multiple colors!! Be sure to check them out on WOD Love! Then you can wear them cool places, like the gym, or the mall, or TO THE GAMES. That would be so cool! Okbye.

I have a bad back and bad hips (loose ligaments that let my hips slip out of joint which is super fun!) If you haven’t done it PLEASE go see a physical therapist. It literally changed my life. He taught me exercises to keep my alignment and how to recognize when I was slipping out of alignment. My back used to go out every 6 months and I missed my best friend’s wedding and I was living in constant pain. Now it’s been a few years since my back went out and I even went through an entire pregnancy with no issues.

Just received your PaleOMG cookbook as a gift from my best friend and falling in love with all of the delicious recipes!!! I recently adopted a paleo diet in hopes that it will help me overcome the many struggles I’ve been enduring as a newly diagnosed Celiac. This blog has been a Godsend! Thanks for writing. 🙂

My lower back is borked pretty badly from falling off a horse as a teenager. I have to ride a recumbent bike… and it works great! If you’re having issues like that then I’d say get creative and take the strain off the bits of your body that are hurting you.

Vibram Fivefingers! I swear by them. Feels funny at first but you get used to the toe instead of heal strike.Just start slow in the beginning, like using them 15 mins at a time because you’ll use more muscles & use them differently. This recipe looks awesome such an interesting combo can’t wait to try it!

I use KT tape on my ankles and knees. Its pretty much a necessity at the moment when I run but it also helps during/after a WOD. According to my chiropractor, I have really short/tight hip muscles so it throws my alignment off and puts a lot of pressure on my lower half. The KT tape seems to help with stability and sort of reduces the strain on my lower joints which hopefully will only be necessary until we get my hips where they should be. Maybe you need to look into what’s causing the problem so you can better fix it rather than risking additional damage.

I miss my entire knee shaving. Not sure how, but it’s a given. Daily. Ugh.
