Good morning my little fitness lovers. Wait, you don’t like fitness? It’s totally cool, I don’t either sometimes. But we gotta keep working out so we can keep enjoying amazing food, right? Right. That’s exactly what I’m doing today. After being sick most of last week with some stomach bug, I’m in LA right now to officially start the process of creating my wedding dress with the amazing designer Katie May. Pretty freaking cool experience. Problem is, after not being able to each much of anything for 4 days, I’ve been a bit crazy about craving food. AND two of my favorite people in the world live out here in Cali are also people who love food as much as I do. So we are painting the town red with food.
Yesterday I enjoyed a gluten free donut from Sidecar Doughnuts, then veggie appetizers at Arc Restaurant, then a giant AMAZING burger at Chapter One, and to finish the night off, we grabbed some liquid nitrogen made ice cream at A La Minute that absolutely blew my mind. I think I was making up for all the calories I missed out on while sick. Check out my instagram for all my pictures because those meals were a beauty. I’m guessing I should be watching my meals a bit more since I’m trying on wedding dresses today, but life is about enjoying every minute and I’m doing it up!

Wednesday – FIT class – I don’t remember the workout at all because I could barely function after not eating much of anything in the past few days. It was more so to just get moving and get the endorphins flowing.
Thursday – CrossFit class – Wanna feel your hamstrings? Do this workout.
Deadlifts: (15 mins) – 2 min rest between sets.

Friday – CrossFit class – I hate thrusters. They hurt my knees while overhead squats don’t hurt at all. Weird bodies.
15 mins to find a heavy Complex Of: Hang Snatch into Snatch. Must hang onto bar. – I got to 100#
then 8 min AMRAP Of:
9 Thrusters (115/75)
18 KB Swings (70/55)
I did 4 rounds + 4 reps using 55# thruster and 45# KB
Saturday – CrossFit class – I haven’t done this workout in probably 4+ years. The last time I did this workout, I did it with a guy I was dating. I ended up beating him in this workout and our relationship was seriously never the same, he was so pissed. He was a total ass afterwards. Real gem, he was.

We did Nancy last month on an afternoon where a downpour started just before class. We all decided we’d rather run in the rain than row, so not dropping the barbell on my head with my wet hands was a real challenge.
I love that designer’s work! Of course I went right to insta to stalk. Those low backs will look amazing on you! I hope you have an amazing time designing it and share as much as you can about the experience. I’m going to my first bridal appt on August 1st!

Looks like you were in my neighborhood! Arc and Sidecar are seriously the best…the gluten-free doughnuts are to die for.
My wedding was last August and I had the Poipu gown from Katie May. It was beyond beautiful! So exciting that you are designing your dress with her!
