Does this look like an ad for a company? It totally does, doesn’t it? Don’t prank the phone number. That would just be rude.

This weeks workouts consisted more of eating treats and consuming alcohol than working hard in the gym. To say I was an emotional eater would be an understatement. That time of the month just f*cks with you sometimes. And since it hasn’t in a while, I was c-c-c-crazy this month. I hated everyone, (except for my fiance, thankfully) hated working out, hated the workouts, hated my hair. I just hated stuff to hate stuff. But I’m ready to turn it around this week. To clean my sh*t up along with my attitude. Sugar has this downward spiral effect. The more you eat it, the worse you feel about life then you want it more and more and continue to eat it and continue to downward spiral. That was me last week. But no more! Time to sugar detox, continue to recover from my hangover, and eat all the Thanksgiving food. Because I’ll be making that for the blog this week so you can get to planning your Thanksgiving paleo menu!

The workouts this week were mostly CF, but I did hop in a Fit class at our gym to mix it up…I went to that because I didn’t want to do strict handstand push ups in our CF class. My body sees no purpose in practicing those. Anywho, Fit classes are bootcamp style classes we offer at our gym which are circuit style classes with lighter weights and usually higher reps than our CF classes. It’s nice to go to those classes sometimes because you’re never quite as miserably sore as you feel after CF.

Be sure to check out the bottom of the post! This week I’m sharing some fitness apparel, all of which are on sale right now! Pants, capris, a tank, my favorite new Nikes, a reversible sports bra AND a low back tee. Everything I’m linking is 20% or more on sale!

Saturday – Travel Day in Omaha. My fiance’s brother plays football in college so we got a party bus and took it two hours to Wayne State. The bus picked us up at 10am while we sipped on bloody mary’s for 2 hours straight. Then we had jello shots. They were caramel apple cider and they were absolutely delicious. We watched the game then hopped right back on the bus to head back to Omaha. This is where things got realllll interesting. Dancing, drinking and snacking. It was an absolutely awesome day. That ended by 9pm. My kind of night.

Oh, Hi! I’m Juli.

I’m a food hoarder. And a really bad dancer. If you don’t know me well, you will probably not understand my humor. Therefore, I apologize ahead of time. Thanks for listening to my ramblings of my ever-changing life and trusting my kitchen mishaps. Your trust in me is appreciated.

  1. Juli, do you plan on continuing with the “what I ate in a day” posts? They’re bomb and so helpful. Love your WW posts!

  2. Juli, I just decided I might give this paleo thing a try, so I went to Barnes and Noble and picked up a random paleo cookbook, after reading the into I’m SOOO glad I picked yours. Your intro is me to a T, i looooove food and not my body, but i still stuff my face with pizza, oreos, and cereal full of sugar. So I’m excited to see where this journey takes me and I just wanted to say thank you for making this cookbook, I need a change in my life!
    xoxo

  4. Hi Juli!!! This is unrelated to your weekly workouts post but, would you be so kind as to share what that pink/purple jacket is you’re sporting in the photo for this post? =)

    TIA!
