I’m not even sure if that’s how you spell fudgesicles…but I’m too lazy to look it up. True story.

OMG I didn’t even tell you guys about my weekend. That’s some bullsh*t right there, because it was fantastic. I burned the crap out of my boobs being outside constantly, but having a tan makes everything look better right? So I’ll be tanning my bum on a constant basis here on out. Anywho, I got to wakeboard AND go to the pool. Two different water sources in two days. New personal record for me right there. I finally got more comfortable on the wakeboard. I did little baby jumps and only took 2 or 3 face dives. So much fun. I feel like a little kid when I get on the wakeboard, I get so giddy and excited.

I also went mountain biking again last week. Wow, was that sh*t scary this time around. Like, so scary. The first part of the trail should have been called ‘Where Juli Will Die’ trail. I had to stop pretty much every 30 seconds, get off my bike and walk it down a bit, just to get back on it, talk to myself (mostly saying, don’t be a p*ssy Juli), then fall again and proceed on to use many curse words. Thankfully no one else was around. And thankfully no one sees my entire but because it’s cascading with bruises now. I fell way more than the guys I was with even know about. I’m so clumsy…and uncoordinated. Either way, it was fun as hell. I can’t wait to go back again.

So while I was mountain biking, or falling, whatever you may call it, thankfully I was wearing a headband. Or I would have had blistering salt sweat dripping into my eyes. You know how bad that sucks? Real bad. And thankfully I had my new PaleOMG headband on!! YES A NEW HEADBAND!! OMG, it’s cute. It’s blue instead of the normal black. They rock. Check out these headbands and start sporting them daily {NO LONGER AVAILABLE}. If you haven’t noticed by my pictures at this point, headbands are my boyfriend. It’s true. I love them.

omg cute

And you know where I’ll be sporting my PaleOMG headband this weekend? Well other than the store, the gym, the bars, and while sleeping…I’ll be wearing it at my first ever All Women’s Lifting Seminar at CrossFit Jai in the Highlands of Denver, CO. There are still a few spots left if you’d like to partake and get your giggle on while getting huge. I’m kidding, we won’t get huge. But we will get better at our lifts and make some new friends! The class is from 12-2 so it is short and sweet and we will all learn a ton from it! And probably grab lunch afterwards. Who doesn’t like girls’ food time!? Sweat + food = a good Saturday. Check out the link to sign up! And hope to see you there!

Juli, what kind of unsweeted cocoa powder do you use/recommend?

  4. Christine Childs says:

I made these this weekend and they are so, so good! I also made them without the honey to cut down on sugar and it was still very, very good! My husband loved them.

    Cool. Literally!
We were declaring independence from civilization for the holiday at state and national parks, but I am back and it is still HOT. Can’t WAIT to try these!

    Juli, these are BEAUTIFUL!

  7. Andrea says:

Just made these and love them. I used silicon muffin cups to mould them, and I’m definitely adding a shot of coffee to kick up the flavour next time.

  8. Kyle W. says:

Made these for my kids and I, and we all LOVED them!! Thank you! 🙂

  9. Samantha says:

Is this considered a vegan treat too? My friend said she would only try them if they were vegan, and I couldn’t see anything that wouldn’t be in the ingredients.

    1. juli says:

I’m not sure of vegan rules so I couldn’t tell ya!

    2. Candace says:

The only thing I’d see that would be considered not vegan (and it depends on the person who is vegan’s definition) would be the raw honey. But I think you can sub the honey for like stevia right if you were to do them for a vegan?

I dohbled up on the recipe and made small lollies. My boyfriend and i LOVE them.

We left some of the mixture in the fridge as we ran out of lolly makers and the mixture turned into an awesome chocoloate mousse. Which we ate for pudding.
