I don’t know who winter thinks he is but this whole game he’s playing with snowing in the winter is RUDE. It’s pretty much pitch black outside this morning and it’s put me in one hell of a mood. It could have to do with how sore I am, but I’m going to go with snow-blaming instead. Do I want to shovel? No. Do I want to have cold toes throughout the entire day? No. Do I want to scrape my car with a credit card because I can continue to ignore the fact that I need an ice scraper? No. But I probably should get one. I’ve lived in Colorado for 30 years at this point.

But who cares about my annoying needs. Let’s talk about cauliflower gnocchi. Because you probably know at this point that it’s the best thing ever. And if you don’t since you don’t have a Trader Joe’s near you, I recommend that you move. It will be worth it. Then you can make my cauliflower gnocchi recipes all the time and life will be grand. Especially if you have an air fryer. I was recently making my Instant Pot Creamy Gnocchi Soup on instagram stories and a woman reached out and told me that she makes her gnocchi in her air fryer and then told me how simple it is. So this really isn’t a recipe at all. This is a way to cook gnocchi that an instagram follower showed me. And I thank her. And love her with all my heart. Now instead of having to pay attention to the gnocchi in a pan to make sure it doesn’t stick or turn in to goo balls, all you have to do close your air fryer and pay attention to the rest of your meal. It’s lovely. And they come out perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!
But enough about gnocchi. I’ve had enough. Just kidding, I want to eat it everyday. Anywho, I’ve had a couple people reach out to ask if I’m going to share Bachelor recaps this year and I’ve been really torn about it. Ok, not REALLY torn. But slightly. Sometimes it’s tough to gage…or gauge? Sometimes it’s tough to ga(u)ge what people want since complainers are much louder than appreciaters. When I would share Bachelor recaps in the past, I would get emails from people saying they couldn’t stand The Bachelor so it ruined the post they were trying to look at. So since this year has Colton, who is a virgin and 12 years old, it’s slightly less interesting for me to watch and actually recap, especially with the complainers out there coming in hot.
Complainers are just the pits. They ruin the fun in everything. When I came out with fitted shorts a while back in my activewear line, a woman complained that I was out of touch, body negative and it not a good look. For coming out with shorts. Shorts. And you know what? You guys have totally rocked those shorts and looked amazing in them. So I think I need to remember that people just like being angry about something. Even gnocchi. Someone will be angry about this gnocchi if they don’t have an air fryer. All that being said…I haven’t watched much of The Bachelor. Virgin jokes aren’t that interesting to me. Nor are the innuendos that the editors have made throughout each episode. We get it. He hasn’t had sex by the age of 26. He’s had a tough life as a good-looking white male who made it to the NFL. It’s a true sob story. Cinderella right there. Now, what do YOU think of The Bachelor this year? Are you in love with Demi who said she hasn’t dated a virgin since age 12? Or are you in to one of the fourteen beauty queens? Vast array of people this year. Bravo, NBC. You’ve outdone yourself with lookalikes this year.
Now excuse me. I have leftover gnocchi to consume.
Easy Air Fryer Gnocchi Three Ways

I keep telling myself all the amazing things I could do if I had an air fryer! And now that TJ’s cauli gnocci is on the list too I may need to buckle down and get one!
they are seriously the best. it does take up a shit ton of room, but it’s been worth it in my opinion
It’s so worth it just for the gnocchi. Can’t wait to make your meatloaf in it!
Hi Juli,
If you had to make a choice, would you have an air fryer or an instant pot? I have room for one and can’t decide… Thanks!
that’s so hard to say!! i like instant pot for more round meals. like i can make a huge batch of soup or meatloaf with potatoes, but i like my air fryer for more side dish options like potatoes, gnocchi or even chicken wings. so i guess it’s deciding if you like softer or more crunchy food!! they are just great for different things
Hi! I wanted to share that for Christmas my husband got me a ninja foodie…..instant pot and air fryer combo. I’m obsessed with it. Also should share TJ cauliflower gnocchi is my other new obsession. Nearest TJS is 2 hours away. I have people pick them up for me there when they go through, and I have my in laws in RI (I’m in Maine) pick them up when they visit. I tell everyone how amazing they are, but I don’t make them for them because I don’t want to share them. ????. I only have 4 bags left right now lol. Not sure who is going to supply my next bulk order! Haha
Love my air fryer and I am just getting my feet wet using it. I love that you keep posting new ways for me to use mine!! Thank you!
Also: My friend and I get together for the bachelor every week and have for a few years now. Your blog recaps about the bachelor were the first thing we would read together before even watching the next episode. You are truly are spirit animal in so many ways and it made our girl time together even better. Even just reading your few sentences of recap above I am laughing SO HARD 🙂 I totally understand your reasoning (UGH!) but if you feel the need to get going on the recaps again…………. know you have a very captive audience with us!!
P.S. I am making your air fryer brussel sprouts & your almond butter blondies tonight for our bachelor get together!! SO excited.
well damn, now i feel terrible not sharing recaps haha! so i may have to pick that up next season. but man, i think colton is so effing boring lol just like arie. why won’t they go with someone fun?! come on!!
Complainers SUCK. I don’t even watch the Bachelor, but I love your re-caps because they are hilarious and you have a knack for it. Keep on doin it if you want! If you’re tired of doing it then that’s another story…. but I say EFF the complainers. Let them make their own website and complain all they want and have terrible lives mired in negativity. Also, are they lazy??! You can just SCROLL DOWN to skip your recaps and get the recipe – what, is that just too much for ya? (not to complain LOL)
i’m right there with you Kari, complainers are exhausting!
Just moved to Denver from Florida and am having a hell of a time adjusting my go to recipes for the altitude (air fryer and otherwise). Curious if the times and temps you specify are adjusted down to sea level or if you have any tips or rules of thumb for successful, mile high meals?
Thanks!
oh man, i wish i had some advice for you Brian, but i grew up here in colorado, only really cooking my own recipes so i’ve had no experience at sea level sadly. i’ve only experienced cooking at high altitude so i’ve never changed anything in particular since i’m always creating my own stuff
I was thinking about getting an air fryer. This clinched the deal! And I didn’t even know about the cauliflower gnocchi! As far as the Bachelor, bored of the focus on his virginity and dumb innuendos too! But I do like your comments about it 🙂
i’m right there with you Aaron. and seriously, you’re going to LOVE your air fryer. i’m using mine almost daily now! hope you are doing well!!
I depend on you to recap the bachelor so I don’t have to watch it. It’s a public service really.
lol well crap, now i feel like i HAVE to! i may have to save it for next season though. so over all the virgin jokes. we get it, he doesn’t have sex.
I love your recaps!! They truly make me giggle and I always search for your recap in the blogs!
awwwww thanks Brittney!! looks like i need to bring them back next year!
I don’t even watch the Bachelor/Bachelorette, but I always enjoyed your recaps. They’re hilarious.
hahaha thanks Heather!
Do you have recipes for other pics on this post? It looks like one was buffalo.
if you check out the recipe, it has the ingredients for those photos that you are talking about. there is Rao’s Arrabbiata Sauce, pesto and butter with lemon!
