That picture is a weird picture. And a weird color. I even kind of look naked. Terrible, frightening choice.
I haven’t done one of these posts in a while. Mostly because I tend to forget to take pictures of everything I put in my mouth in one day. Stop thinking dirty thoughts, you weirdo. Anywho, I finally remembered so I could show you what I eat when I’m out of town. I’m in San Diego working with a friend on a project, so thankfully I still have home cooked food. And snacks. I love snacking. You’ll see.
I can’t wait to tell you about this project. It’s an exciting one.
But for now, let’s just talk about what I ate the other day. It was a big eating day. I know this because I have felt full pretty much the entire day. This post will satisfy the people who don’t think I eat enough. But upset the people who think I eat too much. Ya just can’t win, can ya? I’m talking to myself right, FYI.
And we’re off!
Breakfast:
Started my day off with a cup of coffee with about a tablespoon of raw honey in it.
Then I had a breakfast of 3 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, avocado, and tomatoes. I put some sriracha on it.

Snack:
A couple hours later, I wanted a snack. So I had an almond butter and jelly cocoroon. LOVE. Great flavor. I was pretty pumped to see that flavor on the shelf in San Diego. I packed a bag of it for Laura back in CO. Lucky b*tch.
Second snack:
Plantain chips. I have no idea how much. They’re just my fav. Then I ate probably about 5-6 pieces of asparagus with a piece of bacon. It was delish.
Lunch:
With all the snacking, I decided I should actually have a real meal to calm the snacking down. So I made myself a bowl of squash soup topped with more asparagus and bacon, with plantain chips on the side. It was delicious. And filling.
Snack:
Couple bites of my own spinach and artichoke dip.
Some random pieces of walnuts and pecans throughout the day.
3-4 pieces of coffee Taza chocolate. But who’s counting, right? Am I right, or am I right?
Dinner:
Some cauliflower soup, some carrots, and some kind of pork sausage.
Dessert:
2 hunkin’ chunks of dark chocolate. Can you tell what time of the month it is? Geez man, geez.
I’m done. Thanks for listening/reading/not caring.
PS- this was a no workout day today 🙁 sad

Your skin looks great!!!! Very dewy! (That’s a good thing! :-))
Lovely. Makes me feel better about my yesterday 🙂 and tomorrow doh! PS when is your e-book available? Just assuming its in the pipeline. Come on you gotto kick George’s toned ass! Girl power!
Yum! I’ve also had a thing for bacon and sausages recently. Your breakfast does look especially delicious – whoever the chef was, he is welcome to come over and make breakfast for me 🙂
Your soups look sooooo good. And I’m a big fan of sausage right now.
I just saw that flavor of Coco-Roons at the Sprouts on Arapahoe, in case you’re looking for it locally. I was tempted to try them, but resisted. Now I’m curious again…
Great hair! That’s the upside of non-workout days…
I’ve been craving bacon lately – love to see that others do too. (recent trip had caramelized brussels sprouts w/ bacon from hotel restaurant – so good got 2 orders the next night, 1 for dinner, 1 for breakfast!) Plantain chips = kryptonite, I’m afraid to have them in the house. Does any mfr bake instead of fry? Tried to bake my own, not thin enough, not the same. Have to look for coco-roons, have enjoyed Emmy’s (I think) in 3pk. Not sure big bag is a good idea. 🙂
Would it make you feel better to know that every. single. time you post one of these, no matter what time of your month and how much/little you’ve eaten, I come away thinking, “Holy CRAP, I eat way too much. Maybe that’s why I can’t get any weight off!”
Helen,
Meee toooo!!!! I agree completely.
I feel so much better about how much I eat! I I do not understand how my friend can live on an English muffin, a handful of cherry tomatoes with an ounce of cheese, and a chicken breast. Maybe she puts a lot more cream in her coffee than I know about? Anyway, your meals are more my speed and your recipes are great! I lived on Meatza leftovers for 3 days!
PB&J Cocoroons are CRACK nuggets. Words cannot express my love for those things!
