That picture is a weird picture. And a weird color. I even kind of look naked. Terrible, frightening choice.

I haven’t done one of these posts in a while. Mostly because I tend to forget to take pictures of everything I put in my mouth in one day. Stop thinking dirty thoughts, you weirdo. Anywho, I finally remembered so I could show you what I eat when I’m out of town. I’m in San Diego working with a friend on a project, so thankfully I still have home cooked food. And snacks. I love snacking. You’ll see.

I can’t wait to tell you about this project. It’s an exciting one.

But for now, let’s just talk about what I ate the other day. It was a big eating day. I know this because I have felt full pretty much the entire day. This post will satisfy the people who don’t think I eat enough. But upset the people who think I eat too much. Ya just can’t win, can ya? I’m talking to myself right, FYI.

And we’re off!

Breakfast:

Started my day off with a cup of coffee with about a tablespoon of raw honey in it.

Then I had a breakfast of 3 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, avocado, and tomatoes. I put some sriracha on it.

i obviously did not assemble this plate. it's much too neat for my style

Snack:

A couple hours later, I wanted a snack. So I had an almond butter and jelly cocoroon. LOVE. Great flavor. I was pretty pumped to see that flavor on the shelf in San Diego. I packed a bag of it for Laura back in CO. Lucky b*tch.

Second snack:

Plantain chips. I have no idea how much. They’re just my fav. Then I ate probably about 5-6 pieces of asparagus with a piece of bacon. It was delish.

Lunch:

With all the snacking, I decided I should actually have a real meal to calm the snacking down. So I made myself a bowl of squash soup topped with more asparagus and bacon, with plantain chips on the side. It was delicious. And filling.

Snack:

Couple bites of my own spinach and artichoke dip.

Some random pieces of walnuts and pecans throughout the day.

3-4 pieces of coffee Taza chocolate. But who’s counting, right? Am I right, or am I right?

Dinner:

Some cauliflower soup, some carrots, and some kind of pork sausage.

Dessert:

2 hunkin’ chunks of dark chocolate. Can you tell what time of the month it is? Geez man, geez.

I’m done. Thanks for listening/reading/not caring.

PS- this was a no workout day today 🙁 sad

I love to see your day’s of eats! A lot of blogs I read don’t show their snacks or don’t snack. I’m a snacker so I always feel like I’m eating so much more but it’s nice to see I’m not alone!

I’m glad you eat as much as me! I always get looks when I bring a big piece of meat as a “snack” at work, and then eat almond butter with a spoon. I need to try these coco-roons, whole foods I am assuming?

They look poached. Takes a bit more time and effort than frying them, but they stay very soft and yummy!

Well looks like there’s something else I need to add to my “saw it on paleomg now need to find a store around that sells it” list… those coco-roons sound/look super fantastico.

And you look fine. Naked yes, but great nonetheless lol.

Funny how some days (or weeks) are binge-snacking and others aren’t. THANKS, HORMONES.
