That picture is a weird picture. And a weird color. I even kind of look naked. Terrible, frightening choice.

I haven’t done one of these posts in a while. Mostly because I tend to forget to take pictures of everything I put in my mouth in one day. Stop thinking dirty thoughts, you weirdo. Anywho, I finally remembered so I could show you what I eat when I’m out of town. I’m in San Diego working with a friend on a project, so thankfully I still have home cooked food. And snacks. I love snacking. You’ll see.

I can’t wait to tell you about this project. It’s an exciting one.

But for now, let’s just talk about what I ate the other day. It was a big eating day. I know this because I have felt full pretty much the entire day. This post will satisfy the people who don’t think I eat enough. But upset the people who think I eat too much. Ya just can’t win, can ya? I’m talking to myself right, FYI.

And we’re off!

Breakfast:

Started my day off with a cup of coffee with about a tablespoon of raw honey in it.

Then I had a breakfast of 3 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, avocado, and tomatoes. I put some sriracha on it.

i obviously did not assemble this plate. it's much too neat for my style

Snack:

A couple hours later, I wanted a snack. So I had an almond butter and jelly cocoroon. LOVE. Great flavor. I was pretty pumped to see that flavor on the shelf in San Diego. I packed a bag of it for Laura back in CO. Lucky b*tch.

Second snack:

Plantain chips. I have no idea how much. They’re just my fav. Then I ate probably about 5-6 pieces of asparagus with a piece of bacon. It was delish.

Lunch:

With all the snacking, I decided I should actually have a real meal to calm the snacking down. So I made myself a bowl of squash soup topped with more asparagus and bacon, with plantain chips on the side. It was delicious. And filling.

Snack:

Couple bites of my own spinach and artichoke dip.

Some random pieces of walnuts and pecans throughout the day.

3-4 pieces of coffee Taza chocolate. But who’s counting, right? Am I right, or am I right?

Dinner:

Some cauliflower soup, some carrots, and some kind of pork sausage.

Dessert:

2 hunkin’ chunks of dark chocolate. Can you tell what time of the month it is? Geez man, geez.

I’m done. Thanks for listening/reading/not caring.

PS- this was a no workout day today 🙁 sad

your egg is beautiful! I JUST discovered how much I love fried eggs (instead of omelets or scrambled) and mine look like sh*t but they taste pretty darn fantastic so whatever! I had to stop and admire your presentation though.

Thanks for the post Julie! Although I love seeing a bloggers day worth of eats (It gives me fresh ideas on what snacks etc. I can mix into my routine), I think it’s sad that so many people (mostly women) use this as a way to compare it to how much they eat. Why do women always have to compare one another?! Favorite quote I’ve seen recently “why try to always fit in when you were made to stand out?” Same thing goes with eats. We all have different fueling needs! Anyway, just had to get that off my chest! Thanks for sharing your post with us avid readers!
