I love cashews. I love paprika. I love sweet things. I love all of them combined. So that what I did it. These are like eating toffee covered nuts. Beauty.

I really wish I didn’t have an allergy to nuts. I had to get these out of the house right away because I couldn’t stop eating them. Stupid allergy. But if you are wanting to feed your super bowl guests well, this would be a perfect recipe. They will be snacking for days. Or minutes.

Ok, so I’ve been trying to get into Breaking Bad because everyone, and I mean EVERYONE talks about how addicting it is. But I’ve watched the first season and I’m still a bit unsure. It’s pretty depressing, guys. I mean, something is always going wrong, multiple times a day. How can that many things go wrong in one day? It’s just not realistic.

Anywho, I’ve started to pack up for my move to a new apartment. I’m finding things I forgot I even had. Like shoes. How do you forget about shoes? Well, my current closet is the size of 30 pack of beer. That may not make sense to you, but it does to me. It’s small. So things get lost easily in there. Shoes, shirts, headbands, socks. Damn socks.

I’m also finding things I haven’t used in a while. Even though they are in plain sight, I kind of forget about them because they have collected so much dust. I hate dusting. Something I need to work on for my new place. Now that I’ve noticed it, I think I want to make ice cream soon. Yeah. I definitely do.

I’m definitely making these for our paleo-ish Super Bowl party. Thanks! I hate my allergy to nuts, too! It really is the worst.

These look amazing! Pinned them for after my Whole30 (just 8 more days!). I totally found Breaking Bad too depressing/scary and stopped watching after the first season. Anything more intense than The Wire is too intense for me!

If you want a new show to watch, I highly recommend 2 Broke Girls. SOO funny and the the humor on the show couldn’t be better. It’s better then New Girl – yup I said it and it’s true 🙂

I’m definitely making these….today. Great snow day food!!

  6. Christine says:

My friend kept wanting to give up on Breaking Bad during season 1 too (same as you, thought it was too depressing!), but we encouraged him to keep watching. He didn’t regret it! It starts to take on some comedic aspects soon…. Darkly comic, but less depressing. 🙂

  7. Amy says:

I thought I was the only one who felt that way about breaking bad!! NOTHING EVER GOES RIGHT!! So annoying, I stopped watching.

I started paleo a week ago and have made about 1,000 of your recipes already. Well….maybe not a thousand but every day one or two meals are recipes from your site. I must admit I’m addicted to your site! Saw the banana muffin recipe yesterday afternoon, made it this morning (after putting your honey ginger apple shredded pork in my crockpot). Waited for today’s post – it’s a snow day here in NJ so I’m chillin’ literally – and will be making it ASAP. Thanks for being awesome!!!!

  9. Sierra says:

I can’t get into Breaking Bad either. I tried, I really did! But like you say, it’s SOOOO depressing, I’d rather fill my TV time with happy stuff.
Can’t wait to make these cashews!!!

You could stop watching it now and not miss out. I watched the first season and stopped because I hated it (acid soaked bodies??? Ewww). Then I ended up finishing the entire series over Christmas break and I was just disappointed. It’s just ….. Over the top. Depressing….. I don’t even know. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t for me.
