I love cashews. I love paprika. I love sweet things. I love all of them combined. So that what I did it. These are like eating toffee covered nuts. Beauty.
I really wish I didn’t have an allergy to nuts. I had to get these out of the house right away because I couldn’t stop eating them. Stupid allergy. But if you are wanting to feed your super bowl guests well, this would be a perfect recipe. They will be snacking for days. Or minutes.
Ok, so I’ve been trying to get into Breaking Bad because everyone, and I mean EVERYONE talks about how addicting it is. But I’ve watched the first season and I’m still a bit unsure. It’s pretty depressing, guys. I mean, something is always going wrong, multiple times a day. How can that many things go wrong in one day? It’s just not realistic.
Anywho, I’ve started to pack up for my move to a new apartment. I’m finding things I forgot I even had. Like shoes. How do you forget about shoes? Well, my current closet is the size of 30 pack of beer. That may not make sense to you, but it does to me. It’s small. So things get lost easily in there. Shoes, shirts, headbands, socks. Damn socks.
I’m also finding things I haven’t used in a while. Even though they are in plain sight, I kind of forget about them because they have collected so much dust. I hate dusting. Something I need to work on for my new place. Now that I’ve noticed it, I think I want to make ice cream soon. Yeah. I definitely do.

My husband DVR’d the whole thing around Christmas when they had a huge marathon. We have like 50 episodes saved right now. I haaaaaaaate it. It’s horribly depressing. I watched a few episodes and just don’t like it. I can watch the news and see stories of bad stuff happening in the World, if for some reason I’m feeling too happy one day and want to get bummed out. Why watch a show about people’s lives being destroyed for my entertainment? There is literally nothing positive, that I can see, that happens to a single character in that show (and I’m up on all the spoilers). No thanks!!
Juli- I must admit this is my first time writing on your blog which I have followed for the past few months… and I have a girl crush on you. (Don’t worry I’m engaged so it’s not in a creepy way!) But you are hilarious, honest, and a very creative minded chef! Can’t wait to see more from you and definitely going to start making your awesome recipes!
I went through the same thing with Breaking Bad. I watched three seasons and it was just TOO much. I took a six month break and started watching it again. BEST show ever. Just let it breathe (like a fine wine). on a side note, I signed up at a new gym near my work this morning, and the personal trainer mentioned YOUR blog as a great place to find paleo recipes. I told them I already followed you and I agree! Isn’t it fun to have fans all over? xo
that’s so awesome to hear!!!

Great recipe! I made these yesterday using whole
almonds because that’s all I had on hand which work
really well. As soon as I pulled the almonds out of the
oven I generously tossed in shredded coconut. Super
yum! Thanks!
Delicious! I made these yesterday, they have a very unique flavor.
These are amazing!!!
These are really, really, really, really, really good….really 🙂 Thanks for this one! I am always a loss as to what to do with raw cashews, so I end up getting them already roasted.
Just made these yesterday. They were tasty but I was thinking next time I would add more cayenne as it did not really come out in the flavor. After sitting in a container overnight today they are very good! Which makes complete sense that as these sit the flavors come out more! Going to make these for Superbowl Sunday!!
I am new to the whole Paleo way of life, about a week and a half. I am not a very good cook. That being said even I was able to make these and think they turned out great. Thank you for the simple easy to follow recipes.
