Valentine’s Day Charcuterie Board
Hey, you cute little Valentine’s Day lover, you! What are you doing this year for Valentine’s Day? Champagne and strawberries? Getting your partner some crappy flowers last minute? Or do you go big and do something extra special? No matter what you choose to do, I hope it involves food. And to help you make that happen, I put together a board of all my favorite charcuterie board staples. I pretty much thought of it as, “If I were a board, how would I want to present myself? Well, I would want to present myself with lots of sweets, lots of salt, and lots of adorable colors.” So that’s exactly what I did! This board is very much a guide for, but you can put whenever you want on the board! Hell, if you’re proposing on Valentine’s Day, why not put the ring right in the middle? I’m a genius.
Since last week was the Super Bowl, I moved my monthly Zoom call with my Power Sculpt members to the next week…and now it falls on Valentine’s Day. Shoot. Will my members care? I’m not sure. There are lots of mixed opinions out there about VDay. So I guess I will spend that “special” day with the badass people in my Power Sculpt Program instead of my husband. No pressure, just simply good conversation about these members who are crushing it in the program. If you’re not a member and have been looking for a program to help you get stronger and get maximum results, Power Sculpt is for you. If that’s what you’re here for and you just want to charcuterie board that knock your tits off, well I got that, too.
Did I really just say ‘knock your tits off’? I’m going to get in trouuuuuble for that one. Some people hate when I say tits on stories. But this IS a Valentine’s Day post and hopefully someone, even yourself, is touching those things, so I might as well put it out there. Ew. I’m over myself saying this weird shit. Let’s get back on track. How about we talk about what’s in store? Like Costa Rica!! We travel to Tamarindo on Thursday next week for 8 days and I could not be more excited. I’ve been to CR twice, but never Tamarindo, so this will be a whole new experience. We are going with two of our close friends, who we used to live next door to, and they are the absolute best travel buddies. They are always down for anything, always happy, and always fun to be around. They are the best people to travel with, maybe ever. And since our travel day is a week away, I’ve obviously already started packing. Duh. It’s going to be so damn fun! Mayyyyyybe as fun as this charcuterie board. Maybe.

- gluten free yogurt covered pretzels
- chocolate covered pretzels
- chocolate truffles
- birthday cake popcorn
- your favorite chocolate bar, cut into pieces
- gummy stars
- chocolate candies
- chocolate peanut butter candies
- strawberries
- raspberries
For the savory treats
- prosciutto
- pepperoni
- grain-free crackers
- your favorite dairy or dairy-free cheese, cut into heart shapes
- marcona almonds
Instructions
- When building your Valentine’s Day charcuterie board, you’ll want to start with a cutting board or large serving tray. And you can build however you see fit! The main thing I try to do is switch between colors and textures. So instead of simply putting all the chocolates together, I’ll switch between chocolates, then crackers, fruit, cured meats, and so on!
- Once you build your board between sweet and salty, you can add some roses or maybe even a cute little Valentine’s Day present in the middle!

This looks so fun! My husband and I don’t really do Valentines Day since our anniversary is Feb 10. We usually go out to eat and call it good for both. However this year, he is getting over COVID. (He calls it the “raging Rona.”) Maybe next weekend he’ll feel well enough to go get some brunch with me. Safe travels to you!
