Happy Cyber Monday!! Does anyone else think that Black Friday within stores has become a thing of the past? I was out on Friday just running some errands and it was no where near as psycho as it has been in the past. I think everyone is going the better route: snuggling up in the pajamas, while eating paleo pancakes, drinking mimosas and buying sh*t online. That’s exactly what I did. I didn’t leave the safety of my own home. Except to get my fitness on, of course. And eat a crap ton of Thanksgiving food.

How are you feeling post-Thanksgiving weekend? I had three Thanksgiving parties, two of which included food. Multiple helpings. But you know what I didn’t eat really any of this year? Desserts. I had a couple bites of my Chocolate Caramel Tart because I made that for a party then I had a little fudge square at another part, which was damn good. But that was it. No pie, no cake, no extra whip. I think this was the first year I had absolutely no pumpkin pie. Shame. I guess I’ll just have to make some of my Eggnog Pumpkin Pie to have around the house for the next week!

Sunday – Rest day

Monday – Fit Class

8 minute AMRAP: 10 KBS, 10 dumbbell thrusters, 20 jumping lunges (suicide sprints in between each movement)

8 minute AMRAP: 200m row, 20 banded glutes, x2 walking stairs with weight

8 minute AMRAP: 18 ball touch & go jump squats, 20 TRX  curtsy lunge & pistol, 50 dolphin sliders

8 minute AMRAP: 200m run, 40 heisman (right leg), 20 sumo squats, 40 heisman (left leg)

1-2 minutes rest between AMRAPs.

Tuesday – CrossFit Class

First, find your max effort number of: Kipping Pull Ups and Strict Ring Dips – I got 26 pull ups and didn’t do the dips because they hurt my boobies!

Next, 500m Row For Time – I finished in 1:52

Then Every 4 mins for 4 sets:

200m Run

9 Thrusters (115/75) – I used 55#

12 Burpees

15 Pull ups

My slowest time for 3:04, I think…

Wednesday – CrossFit Class

EMOM for 30 mins:

Min 1: 200m / 175m row

Min 2: 7 Power Snatch (135/95) – try to “touch n go” every set!

Min 3: 5 x 30′ Shuttle Run (down & back is 1 rep)

Min 4: 15 KB Swings (70/55)

Min 5: REST

I finished all sets using 75# and 35#

Thursday – CrossFit Thanksgiving Day Class

10 minute partner AMRAP:

60 kettlebell swings and 60 hand release push ups*

4 minutes rest

10 minute partner AMRAP:

200m row and 10 burpees over your rower**

4 minute rest

10 minute partner AMRAP:

60 wall ball and 60 overhead lunges*

*1 partner works at a time, you must finish all reps before moving on to the next. So partner 1 will do 20 KBS then partner 2 will do 2o KBS then maybe 10 and 10, then they will move on to the hand release push ups. Once finish, go back to KBS then HRPU, until the 10 minutes is up.

**Partner 1 will do 200m row the 10 burpees over rower while partner rest. Continue switching until time is up..

Friday – Rest day

Saturday – CrossFit Class

Partner workout:

100 calorie row – 100 deadlift (135/95)

80 calorie row – 80 hang power cleans

60 calorie row – 60 front squat

40 calorie row – 40 push jerks

20 calorie row – 20 clusters (squat clean into a thruster)

*One person works at a time and you can split it up however you’d like. It’s 100 reps together, not per person, just fyi. We finished in 32 minutes-something. I used 75# and my partner used 95#

  1. Definitely want to try Tuesdays and Saturdays workout! I don’t think it is linked up there, but what size did you get in that gray north face jacket you posted last week. Not sure if it is available anymore, but I found a similar one and it says it runs small.

  2. I agree, Black Friday doesn’t seem as crazy. Who wants to do that when you can shop online? We started getting our dog food shipped from Amazon Prime and it’s literally one of the best decisions we did. Such a time and energy saver!
