I have no clue why I didn’t post this earlier. I mentioned a while back, like a long while back, about my career portfolio I did with The Every Girl, but I never shared much information about it! I’m dumb. And I wouldn’t want you to miss out on a no bake dessert, because let’s be real, baking still sucks in this heat. What made me think of this is that last year I did a photo shoot with Andrea Flanagan for this post and absolutely loved her. So I’m working with her again this year, meaning tomorrow, to do a little photo shoot for a little project I’m working on! I can’t wait. Based on last years experience, I’m going to need to tease the sh*t out of my hair. Nobody likes a flat head.

I’m even getting my nails done for this photo shoot. So fancy.

I’m so excited! You know why? Because I get to have a real vacation soon! No work, no computer, no phone, no nothing. You know what that means!! LAKE POWELL! The first year I went to Lake Powell, it was the greatest experience of my life, second year it kind of sucked because it rained the whole time and there were a couple of sketch balls on the trip, so I think the third time is going to be the best. I can just feel it. I really like being in touch with the world via my phone, but sometimes you just gotta get away. AND THEN I will be heading to Pittsburgh to visit some friends, Bill and Hayley of Primal Palate to do some fun stuff and eat good food. It’s going to be just wonderful. I haven’t been able to vacation much with The Paleo Kitchen book tour going on throughout the summer, so this will be so great. Last year I was lucky enough to get to go to the Dominican Republic AND Mexico within the same month, so I definitely need some water time to make up for the lack this summer. Even if it’s just a lake.

Moving on. Have you guys ever watched the show Hard Knocks? As you may know by now, I HATE sports. I go to baseball games because I’m always promised a vodka soda and a baked potato topped with pulled pork. But other than that, I want nothing to do with sports. But since my boyfriend and I now live together, sports and sports shows are on A LOT more than I would like. But I love him and I have work to do, so I just ignore what’s happening on the tv. BUT, the other night he put on the show Hard Knocks and I kind of got into it. It’s kind of a reality show for football. Sports are way more interesting when you get to hear the sh*t they are talking to each other or how much the coaches are cussing. Wayyyyy more fun. I pretty much want to watch the full season now. But other than that, I still hate sports unless it includes pulled pork and lots of F words.

And don’t forget!! Today is the last day to sign up for the Stitch and Stone Giveaway!! Enter for a chance to win a necklace and a pair of earrings from Stitch and Stone. AND be sure to check out my Fashion Friday post tomorrow for a special treat from Inspyre Boutique and everything I found in store for their new season!

I bolded so many words in this post. I apologize for all of my yelling.
