Let’s face it, you rarely go past the third page on my blog. I don’t blame you. It’s a lot to look at. It can be overwhelming. How to decide. You get distracted by the desserts when you’re looking for a sugar free quick dinners. Or get distracted by the annoying stories that, even though you kind of hate, it’s hard to not read. It’s like watching The Bad Girls Club. You hate it, but you love it all at the same time. I actually really hate that show, it’s pretty much the worst. So I hope my blog doesn’t feel like that show. A woman yesterday let me know that she felt that way about my blog. Bummer.
Anywho, I’ve made a list of some of my favorite recipes from that past so you don’t miss out on any breakfast, dinners, snacks, and even desserts. I sometimes forget about some of these recipes until I check out my Pinterest page. Then once I read my old posts, lots and lots of memories come back. I used to take a whole lot of pictures on my phone. And practically in the dark. I’m not exactly the best photographer nowadays, but at least I know how to find the light. Back to the point, don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Or me by the rude things I say constantly. Just try the recipe! Do it!! Click the link right underneath your “favorite” picture!

I made your coffee caramel bars last night for the first time in a long time. They’re SO GOOD and so easy to throw together!! Thanks for all the hard work you do, providing us with tasty tasty recipes!!
Frankly, even though I own your book, and have ordered your next book (can’t wait!), I read your blog for your musings and writing. I think you should write a memoir.
Ok, I will say that when I read my very first post of your blog and you said “totes,” I was thrown off. However, some of my best friends say it, so I can’t judge! Your website is amazing and a great transition from my recent whole45 experience back into food that resembles what I love to eat. Thanks for your dedication and your honesty and for being you!
I thought I read somewhere that you’re from/living in the Denver area? If so, would love your suggestions for good eats in the area as we are going on vacation there this week! Thanks!!
Hey Lauren!! Here are my favorites (warning: these places are mostly gluten free, not strict paleo FYI) – My favorite paleo bakeries include Sugar Bake Shop (they usually only have one paleo treat per day) and Mmm…Coffee which is a strictly paleo bakery and eatery. My favorite gluten free food truck is Quiero Arepas which is venezuelan food and completely amazing. My favorite restaurants include Cuba Cuba (cuban food), Izakaya Den (sushi), Park Burger (american), Limon (south american food), Snooze (naughty food but gf brunch options too), Moontower Tacos and Pinche Tacos (gf with corn tortillas), Fruition (fancy restaurant), Root Down, and Linger.
Such amazing recipes!!! I’m so excited to try these!
I came for the recipes, but I stay for the stories. Please continue to keep it real and honest. Your recipes are my favorite. I can’t wait to get my hands on your cookbooks!
I just repined almost every recipe on here. I am so excited to try these recipes! Thanks for what you do! Also, making your blog fun by adding a bit of your life to every post. You’re awesome!
You are amazing! I wish we were neighbors, or roommates, or sisters or something! Looking at this list it is funny how many of them are “my” recipes now. You have completely changed the way I cook. Actually making the Chicken Bacon Alfredo as I write this.
Thank you for this! I often have wondered, what recipes would you recommend most highly when making food for non-Paleo people? If you felt like putting it into a post, you could do different ones for different seasons/group sizes. 🙂
People who hate-read blogs confuse me. Like do you have nothing better to do??
Love these kinds of posts! Keep them coming.
